Now he has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That signifies nothing. For us believing physicists the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion. ~Albert Einstein
Today would mark my dad’s 55th birthday. Last year on this day, we were blissfully unaware that in one year’s time, we would all be missing the cornerstone of our family. A reminder that each day is it’s own and should be taken as the blessing that it is. To breath deeply of the air around and to take in each moment with joy abundant, for that moment is truly fleeting.
I miss you, Dad.
“To breath deeply of the air around and to take in each moment with joy abundant, for that moment is truly fleeting.”
Thank you for such a painfully beautiful reminder. Thinking of you…
Goosebumps. So poignant.
Hugs,
Michele
Wendy - I know well the pain you feel….yes indeed, we must see the glass that is life as half full that we had come to know “them” who our hearts love and long for…thinking of you
